Cory was born and raised on Vancouver Island and there is no place he’d rather live and raise his family. Cory currently resides in Nanaimo with his wife and their two young boys.  He has two passions in life, his family and his business and strives for absolute perfection in both.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending every moment involved with his wife and two young boys, as well as many recreational activities including hockey, golf, baseball, and volleyball. He also commits time to giving back to the community with volunteering with Thriftys foods and their program Sendial which helps people with their grocery shopping needs as well as volunteering with the Child Development Center.

Cory is also very passionate about his career, where he is striving to become recognized as one of the top REALTORS® in the business. Already in only a few short years in the business and with a low pressure yet high urgency, customer service approach, he is already well on his way to achieving this goal.

Cory has over 20 years of experience in customer service, 15 of those in management at McDonald's and one of the top Wireless Wave locations in BC, and brings a wealth of experience to his real estate business. He is patient, friendly, and relaxed in his approach to business, yet has a complete understanding of when to take action to help his clients achieve their needs.  

In his first 5 years at RE/MAX of Nanaimo, Cory has already achieved great success, selling over 200 homes.  He also received top producing awards from Remax and has excelled each year in the business achieving 100% Club for 2015, Platinum Club for 2016 and 2017, and a combined team award with Kelly Whitton achieving Chairman’s Club in 2017. Cory and Kelly also achieved Top 100 Teams in Western Canada multiple times in 2018 while only operating as a team of two.

Kelly and her husband, Jamie, have lived in Nanaimo for 11 years and absolutely love the beautiful Harbour City! Together, they have 2 little girls Abi (10) and Kenzie (5). 

Prior to real estate, she was employed by a Real Estate Investment Trust as a Regional Manager for Vancouver Island for 10 years. Kelly wore many hats in this position, including Real Estate Acquisitions up to 15 million dollars, managing an annual budget over 1 million dollars, managing  20+ staff, and managing over 600 apartments in Nanaimo.

Kelly continues to be active in the community and has volunteered and fundraised for the following groups: The Nanaimo Women’s Resource Centre, The Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce, The Child Development Centre, Loaves and Fishes, Salvation Army, Hamperville Nanaimo, ROMS BC, Minor Hockey Sponsor, and Junior Soccer.

Kelly currently sits as Chair for the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce, enabling her to develop her knowledge of the community and the business sector which further helps her clients.

Rob and his wife, Keely, moved to Nanaimo from the Lower Mainland in 2014 after looking at the market trends and deciding it would be a great place to buy a home and raise a family.  They are thrilled to have since welcomed two amazing boys, Zane and Bodhi!

After almost twenty years of serving at some of Vancouver’s top restaurants and hotels, Rob decided to become a REALTOR®.  He'd been recognized for his service excellence everywhere he’d worked, and real estate seemed like a logical extension and great way to continue providing his high service standards.

Also, as a former copywriter who’d run his own business for years, Rob is used to working one-on-one with clients, assessing their needs, and making sure they're happy with his end results.

In his free time, Rob enjoys poker, softball, and sampling the Island’s amazing local craft beer.  He is also a big believer in giving back to his community, so Rob joined the Serauxmen, a local group that fundraises for children and families in need, and became a founding member of 100 Men Who Care Nanaimo, a group that fundraises for local charities.

LAURA NORMAND

Office Manager


Laura has lived in Nanaimo for 20 years but is originally from Ladysmith. She has worked in real estate for 13 years, 9 of those in conveyance. She is married with 2 daughters, the oldest of which is also in real estate.

She loves working with the public and is very thorough in her role as office manager.  Her goal is to make every home sale experience as seamless and stress free as possible for our clients.

Laura spends her free time with her family, friends and pets. She also likes to sit back with a cup of tea and watch her Pittsburgh Penguins. 

ANDREA MOROZ

Administrative Assistant

Andrea was born and raised in a small community in central Alberta but knew from a young age that Vancouver Island would be her home. In September, 2015 she took the leap and headed West! 

Andrea graduated from Medicine Hat College with a Certificate in Office Technology and has been lucky to have experience working in front end offices ranging from tire shops to health care units, but most of her years were spent in the Real Estate industry. Andrea comes from a family of REALTORS®, and her mom is still an active REALTOR® of 30+ years!

When she’s not working, she is busy dog mom to an English Bulldog named Betty and a Catahoula named Burt. She enjoys spending time on the ocean, fishing, exploring the island, and cheering on her other half in his motocross racing.
